A Cape Cod State of Mind

I am not sure about you about but I am longing for an escape, to anywhere, really! No matter where you envision yourself vacationing, there is something special about the Cape!

This project will always be a Bees fave! We had quite the team onboard, along with dream clients! All of whom shared a similar vision for respecting the history of this charming and character-filled home, while bringing it up to date and adding modern conveniences. For me, this place was love at first sight, with an abundance of charming vignettes beckoning in every direction, heaven! This is my kind of dream home, warm, cozy, and welcoming. The perfect haven for entertaining family and friends.

If you are an old home fan check out that original door and hardware, along with all the plank flooring and moldings.

The sunroom is a favorite hangout, with a lovely view of the guest house and the Bass River.

Here’s a shot of what the dining room looked like, before renovations and updates. Check out the “after” shots below.

Custom inset cabinetry, in a style and palette that will never go out of style, and a perfect fit for the environment. Nothing in this home screams at you, everything welcomes you! The timeless and classic elements will look fresh for years to come. The kitchen was a new addition to the back of the home with plenty of connection to the lovely landscape, water views, and the outdoor living areas.
